The choice is entirely yours, depending on what feels most comfortable and convenient.
How often can I book counselling sessions in Cornwall?
Sessions can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or varied to suit your personal needs and schedule. We aim to offer flexibility with appointments and times so counselling fits naturally into your life.
How long can I continue counselling for?
The duration of counselling is up to you. Some people attend sessions for a term, others for a year or longer — you decide what works best for your journey.

As the founder of My Space Counselling I manage a team of like-minded counsellors based across Cornwall and the UK providing referral pathways to broaden capacity to meet demand and to try to ease your search for support- See The Team. If I am at full capacity we can discuss your needs and provide a quick referral pathway to one of my like minded colleagues within the team.

Getting Started with Counselling ...
How do I book my first counselling session at My Space Counselling in Truro?
Getting started is simple. You can call or email me to arrange your initial counselling session. If I am in session and unable to answer, please leave your name and contact details — I will always get back to you as soon as I can. If I am at capacity I will help you by linking you to a suitable counsellor in the team.
What happens during the first counselling session?
Your first session is a chance for us to talk about what you’d like to get out of counselling and how I can best support you. If you decide to continue, we can arrange ongoing sessions weekly, fortnightly, or monthly to suit your needs and schedule.
What if you’re fully booked?
If I am at full capacity, I will signpost you to a trusted member of my team. I’ll discuss suitability with you and arrange for them to contact you directly to schedule a chat and your first session.
I find it difficult to make the first call — what should I do?
That’s completely understandable. Many people find it hard to take that first step. If you prefer, you can send me an email and let me know whether you’d like a reply by phone or email. I aim to make your first contact as simple and comfortable as possible.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions can take place in-person at my private counselling space in Truro, Cornwall, or online or by telephone if you prefer remote support. Counsellors in the team are based in different locations across Cornwall.
